In 2005, L.A BeatMaker Dancy started to explore the art of creating hip hop beats. What started as a hobby turned into a true passion and La BeatMaker Dancy began to research, study and learn the techniques of building simple chords, using reverb, how to identify and arrange a melody line as well as the importance of collaboration with artists. Just a short time later, with dedication, tenacity, along with a true desire to learn more, LA BeatMaker Dancy, became even more familiar with the process of creating beats, and perfecting the sound by using compression, reverb, as well as, other exclusive software/hardware (AKAI Renaissance Reason, Logic, MPC Fly and I Machine) to finalize the process. In 2017, LA Beatmaker Dancy went through a personal restoration. During this time, he decided that it was time for a REBIRTH ( new beginning ), and as a result, Dancy Beats (Beats by Dancy) was born. While the name changed, his passion for music, creating beats and working with artists did not.
