CHAI is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter, half Moroccan and half Sudanese, now based in Toronto. She's known for crafting raw, emotionally charged music with an early 2000s pop-rock edge. Her upcoming releases, recorded in New York City with producer David Schoenwetter, are shaping a sound that blends nostalgia with modern storytelling. Beyond her own artistry, CHAI has written songs for other artists under Grammy-nominated producer Roy Hamilton, founder of Singers Company, and has also published a book, Songs Scrapped, a collection of poetry and song lyrics that captures her creative journey. She has also been a part of Sound Stock Academy, further refining her craft and industry knowledge. Having previously toured across Canada with DREAMMORE STUDIO, CHAI is building a sound and story that resonates with audiences who crave authenticity.
