Since I was a child, I’ve felt a connection to music that went far beyond simply enjoying songs. I was fascinated by sound itself — the frequencies, the textures, the way they could deeply influence my mood and shape how I saw the world. I started by recording homemade cassette tapes with songs I heard on the radio. I would take notes of the times and days my favorite songs were played, and I’d get ready with my recorder, cassette loaded, finger hovering over the “record” button, waiting for the perfect moment to capture each track. Then I’d link the songs together, creating my own compilations, and draw custom covers with words and illustrations that reflected what those songs made me feel. Those were beautiful times. I never imagined how far that obsession with sound would take me. But today I can say that little kid never stopped. It’s taken me almost a lifetime to refine this passion, to elevate it into something more professional — a true way of life.
