Sandra Meland is an independent artist from Northern Norway who tackles her projects from all angles. She stands alone in the creative process from concept, through production, to product. Sandra Melands new album Perspective contains 10 songs that question human behaviour, reflects on the concept of happiness and explores the self with a new perspective from her 2021 EP. Perspective also presents a new musical landscape; nostalgic "beeps" reminiscent of retro video games as well as experimental and expressionistic style choices inspired by psychedelic rock create a magical dimension where reality is questioned. Underpinning and supporting the lyrics' call to expand our horizons of understanding. Inspired by the witty and socially critical texts of artists like Bo Burnham, the lyrics are raw, philosophical, absurd and humorous.
