Owen Critchley
About Owen Critchley
A Bermuda raised, Nova Scotia based singer songwriter with songs whose strong, surprising melodies provide the invitation to explore time, loss, redemption, and survival - at times for survival's sake alone. Signed to a publishing and artist development contract with Warner-Chappell Publishing marked Critchley's departure from Bermuda and the beginning of his Canadian/North American career where his songs have been included in film, TV, as well as many compilations released around the world. This year saw Critchley add lead vocal and arrangements for the song, "Nova Scotia's Lonely" penned by U.S. based songwriters, Bob Rea and Spencer Critchley (brother). Released by McDavid Media as The Critchleys. Critchley also edited the mini-documentary, "The Story of Nova Scotia's Lonely" about the brothers and the creation of this release.
