I’m a freelance musician, composer, producer and arts manager based in Montreal and Ottawa, Canada. My main craft is performing and recording guitar. I also have experience in music production (live and studio), songwriting, bass playing, arranging, tour managing, grant writing, promotion, editing, mixing, and composing for film, podcast, theatre productions and video games. I'm a multi-instrumentalist from Montreal who plays various styles, recorded for award winning artists, and participated on multiple tours around the world. I've acquired a lot of experience playing a variety of instruments, as well as orchestration and composition expertise for various musical genres. My academic experience and practical knowledge gained in the field helps me contribute to any project.

I’ve worked for more than three decades in the arts, as a musician, an educator, an author and an artist. I’ve worked on three records nominated for Juno awards; published multiple books with Bloomsbury and Oxford University Press, among other notable imprints, on the subject of popular music and record making, one of which currently resides in the Reading Room of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; and I even won a Governor General's medal in 2006, at only 28 years of age, for my PhD research in the area of record production and media ecology. Since then I’ve been an associate professor of popular music studies at Western University, in London (Ontario), teaching primarily songwriting and project paradigm record production. I have always been an avid fan (and maker) of collage. I’m totally fascinated by the weird brain states the medium provokes in viewers, as the obviously mass produced print ephemera of disposable consumer culture assembles to create totally new and unique visual experiences.

I've been DJing for 30 years and making electronic music by various means for 15. I can help you with making/programming beats, arranging your track, coach you on how to move your project forward and finish it, help you with the mixing and mastering parts, or just give you feedback if needed. I'm available for original productions and remixes, as well.

Music is my passion. I have been writing lyrics ever since the age of 15. It started off with some small personal stuff such as my life experiences and what I was going through as I was growing up. I really got into wanting to make music with others when I started singing with a good friend of mine, Chris Michael. Something that I also really love to do is I also love to work with others whether it be helping me in my musical endeavors or someone else's. Being part of somebody else's direction in music is a wonderful thing to experience, and I enjoy doing that. I am very easy to communicate with, and I never put added pressure on anyone if something is needing to get done. Fuminori Kagajo is a DJ and Producer based in Sapporo / Japan, since 1996, landing gigs alongside Frankie Knuckles and Ian Pooley among others in his home town. Kagajo makes house music that blends Jazz-funk and Latin-disco Music. No stranger to the international music circuit, Kagajo has released on the likes of DJ Spen’s “Quantize Recordings”, NY’s legendary House label “King Street Sounds”, UK’s popular House label “Makin’ Moves” and many more other labels. Also his track offered to compilation “Doin’ James” released from popular mush up label “G.A.M.M” . Kagajo was chosen in the Top 100 Soulful House Artists of 2016 in “Traxsource”. One of the song in the album, got #8 Spotify Viral chart in Japan.Kagajo is also producing background music for Hotels, restaurant and also he making the music for TV commercials. Hey! I'm Alexander Almgren a music producer from Yorkshire, England. My credits include 17 albums that have reached the top 20 on the Billboard 200, five of which have reached the top three. I've worked with artists such as Born Cages, Skylar Spence, Bondax, Brand New, Dar Williams, Vanessa Carlton, and Smoke DZA. I worked on Born Cages’ acclaimed track “Don’t Look Back,” for which I received a gold record in 2015. I was trained in jazz and classical music, and went on to study popular music and music technology at the University of Huddersfield. After graduating, I moved to New York City to work with Neil McClellan at The Lodge Music Production House, creating advertising music for products such as Dentyne gum and Hot Wheels toy cars. Not long after, I began working with Gary Philips on production for a major children’s music brand, as well as working with various Razor & Tie Recordings artists. I continue producing children’s pop music to this day, which requires me to identify each component of a successful pop song and recreate it. This process has helped me develop a hyper-awareness of what goes into the production of a hit song. In 2015, I opened Freshly Baked Studios in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, where I produce for a wide variety of artists. My productions allow a song’s strengths to shine through on the track. It’s always about connecting with the feeling of the song -- I see my job as bringing different aspects of the song in and out of focus to lead the listener to the most important moments.

Yo, Our names are Jack and Xavier, and we are Gin & Tonic. The first question we always get asked is: “Who is Gin and who is Tonic?”. The truth is we don’t know. We got the name from a random word generator in year 8 when we were trying to come with a catchy name to use when DJ’ed at our mates house parties. Since then, Gin & Tonic has become a musical venture between 2 best friends that changed our lives in more ways than we thought possible. We have thrived on music and used it to express our emotions, explore creative boundaries and mould our identities into who we are today. Currently we produce and work full time, but we would rather spend most of our time focusing on music. To put it simply, we want to make a career out of producing since it is what we are most passionate about. On a side note, we also want to quit our lame day jobs and stick it to our parents who didn’t let us go to producing school (don’t tell them we said that). Producing music has become much more than just hobby for us and we hope you are able to feel the same way about our music as we do. Our Sound: If anything, we can apply the word “electronic” to describe the music we make. We employ influences from genres spanning from classical to techno and we have a really refined musical taste. Lately we have been exploring a more downtempo sound, combing elements of RnB with deep house. Our latest release: “Like Me” is a bouncey mix of deep house and RnB. It was inspired by many popular Kaytranada hip hop instrumentals and features Anderson .Paak style vocal samples. Past Success: Our first Spotify release “Colder” marked a massive turning point for us when it got featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds playlists. It was also our first international collaboration with Toronto native rapper Acey.
