I'm Noah Khanti Steinberg, a mixer, engineer, producer, musician, and alternative arts researcher embracing a new generation of experimentalists and sonic artists. I'm currently working as an engineer for master mixer Michael Brauer, have previously interned at Electric Lady Studios and was brought up under the direction of Jim Abbott at Syracuse University's Sound Recording Technology undergraduate program. Steinberg Sounds is the umbrella of my artistic works, but moreover represents a life-long quest: to go into the depths and find freedom in the experimentation that brings art to life. In addition to my musical work I have traveled through the US and Europe to research underground arts collectives, theorizing and developing the next wave of alternative living and counterculture.

I'm a NYC based touring/session drummer, percussionist and vocalist. I am a singer, songwriter and bilingual book author. Classically trained, I define my own style as minimalist and naïve. Born in Buenos Aires, I obtained my first degree in Literary Translation -that´s why my lyrics and books are written both in English and Spanish-. Having also been trained in classical singing, composition and choral direction, I later moved to Austria invited as a private student by Prof. Hubert Deutsch, former vice-director of the Vienna Opera House. For several seasons, I appeared as a soloist in different cities and Festivals across Europe and America, mostly performing opera, tango and musicals. Later, I developed interest in alternative medicine which led me to obtain a degree in Holistic Medicine and a PhD in music therapy. Now, for more than twelve years, I have been living in Germany, where I work as a therapist and lecturer at the Greifswald University of Medicine. It is absolutely amazing to discover how different combinations of sounds and "words" can be a tool to influence emotions, mood and general wellbeing. In 2015, I opened my own institute where I am engaged in the therapeutic application of creative and performing arts.
