I began recording music early on when my cousin, Ashton Michae'l and I formed our hip-hop band, "219". But it was when I started creating music as a solo artist that I began taking my career more serious. I released my first solo project while in college. A few of the songs on that project were produced by myself and the success of the tape encouraged me to keep going. I ended up graduating with a Bachelors degree for Business Administration and Entertainment Business and moved to Atlanta before releasing my next project. Here in Atlanta, we've found great success. I've enjoyed every moment of the journey, from opening our recording studio to working with multi-platinum producers. Now, we have a fully functioning media and entertainment company and I look forward to networking and building with all of you. Hello! I’m Lawrence D. Benson, PhD, MFA. I’m the founder of Sōma|Flourish and am the artist/producer known as ‘speyeskool’ and ‘TheFlyyProfessa’. I’m influenced by & create House, Hip Hop, R&B, Dance, & Pop. I began seriously making music over 20 years ago using Mixmaster & then Sony Acid Music & loops. I was experimental. I developed a style that was not dependent upon traditional song or production structure, or an ultimate goal of making money. I opted for creativity as the end-all-be-all. My basic idea regarding my production style is that pan and volume get a track 90% or so there, to my goal of a balanced track. If I can make a song sound good by panning & using various volume levels, then whatever tools I use in the future would be polish. Further, if I don’t have access to those tools, I can still produce a well-balanced track. I’m from a musical family of singers, writers, producers, & instrumentalists. I love music & I love making music. I also love dancing & baking yummy vegan cakes & pastries!✌

I began my career composing for movies, broadcast TV shows and commercials. I've already written more than five hundred musical pieces for a lot of clients around the world. Last years I've been producing pop songs and some of them already got more than three million views on Youtube and almost one million streamings on Spotify.

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Penzance, UK. I specialise in sound design and composition. My background bridges the spectrum of visual and sonic arts and I tend to compose and arrange with a view to how these fields interrelate. I am currently a multi-instrumentalist on the touring theatre piece 'RAT' by the Rat Affair, described by Simon McBurney (Artistic Dir. of Complicité Theatre Co.) as 'a creation of great skill, great beauty and light and music', and was a co-composer during the R&D stages. This has just been selected for Edinburgh Fringe On Demand 2021. I am a member of the Idle Institute, a visual art and storytelling collective est. 2017. I have composed many sound-scapes and sound-design stories and have recently have exhibited at the Royal College of Art, Liverpool Biennial , Science Museum, etc. I am an experienced violinist, having lead the Cornwall Youth Orchestra and Penzance Youth String Orchestra in my youth playing at venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony hall as well as tours of Poland and Sweden. I also have years of experience playing and recording with Indie bands across London. Peyto were invited to record at Universal Records in 2017. And as a frontman with my own band Cubs, supporting acts such as Foals and Peter Hook and the Lights. \\ Instruments: Guitar (Elec. and Acou.), Bass (Elec. and Upright), Violin, Keys.
