I have been playing bass most recently with Maggie Rogers since 2017. As her musical director and band member we did a great deal to rearrange her songs to adapt them to the stage. With other artists such as Eden, Morgxn, Sasha Sloan, Neon Trees and many more. I have been acting as musical director to help shape the arrangements, sound design, and programming of their live set. Bass is my primary instrument but analog synths and vintage gear is where my heart lives.

I have been playing music professionally for about 35 years as a touring drummer to the stars. I have since developed and sharpened my skills as a producer, session musician, instructor, and musical director. This was following T Bone Burnette and Buddy Miller who previously held the position. I've produced over 125 cast recordings for Nashville and was also music producer for Greenleaf, also writing and producing the main title song performed by Mavis Staples. Recent work includes Patsy and Loretta for Sony Pictures, NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist and Tell Me A Story for CBS.  I'm an Emmy-nominated writer whose songs have been featured in advertisements for BMW, Toyota, Target, L'Oreal, Coke and Microsoft and well as tv shows One Tree Hill, Drop Dead Diva, Hung, The White Queen, Homeland, Teen Wolf, Pretty Little Liars and Cougar Town.  I've played on over 300 major label albums, recording with a wide variety of artists including Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, Kaleo, Keith Urban, Rodney Crowell, Shawn Mendes, Dolly Parton, Sheryl Crow,  Megadeth and Joan Baez. I've arranged strings for Skillet, Blake Shelton, Francesca Battistelli and many others in addition to scoring short films and podcasts and orchestrating for respected German director Wem Winders.  I've produced Mikky Ekko, Kate Voegele, John Oates, The McCrary Sisters, and Buck Owens.

Lovlee worked and released not one but two tracks with the trance legend Ferry Corsten. “Our Moon '' with Ferry Corsten has surpassed over two million streams on Spotify alone and was named Tune Of the Week on Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance. Music is my passion. I have been writing lyrics ever since the age of 15. It started off with some small personal stuff such as my life experiences and what I was going through as I was growing up. I really got into wanting to make music with others when I started singing with a good friend of mine, Chris Michael. Something that I also really love to do is I also love to work with others whether it be helping me in my musical endeavors or someone else's. Being part of somebody else's direction in music is a wonderful thing to experience, and I enjoy doing that. I am very easy to communicate with, and I never put added pressure on anyone if something is needing to get done. I trust in the process as well as I trust the taste of the music I make both by myself and with others.

I’m a professional singer and songwriter from New York City who’s moved all over the US and Europe, and I’m based in Malaga Spain. I’ve performed, recorded and/or written music with the likes of Ingrid Michaelson, Rachel Platten, Lizzie Grant (Lana Del Rey), The Kin, Gregory Alan Isakov, Lenny Kravitz, Brass Against, Kevin Garrett, and more. My album Other Man was produced by Mike Hedges (U2, The Cure) with help from a team of Grammy winning programmers, mixers, and string arrangers and was released worldwide by Filter Music Group (Milky Chance) in summer 2018. Singles from the album were on radio rotation in Germany, France and Italy, and the official music videos have been viewed nearly 200k time. My vocal performances have also been featured by NYC’s Brass Against and viewed over 1.5 million times. My own compositions focus on vocal flexibility, tone, control, and harmonic support usually on either guitar or piano, and tend to be very soulful. But singing with other groups, I’ve gone from Americana to metal, even singing spot on renditions of Tool with Brass Against. I was classically trained in trumpet by the associate principal player for the Philadelphia Orchestra while I studied music education at Temple University in the early 2000’s. I currently reside in Malaga Spain where I work remotely with producers from NYC and Berlin (where I lived from 2014-2017), and occasional travel Europe to perform live shows either solo or with my band.

I'm Peggy Hogan, and I'm a music educator and recording artist. As my rap persona, Hua Li, I advocate for representation of Asian American feminisms and cross-cultural solidarity through music, and have had the opportunity to bring this message to a number of significant stages across the world. I'm also the director of POP Symposium at POP Montreal International Music Festival and host of LANDR Audio’s educational video series on the music biz, music theory and history.
