After years spent perfecting his craft as a guitarist for some of the most notable acts to come out of Staten Island's rich and diverse local music scene (Paul & The Tall Trees, Eamon, and many more), as well as becoming a fixture at various acoustic/open-mic showcases, singer/songwriter Sergio Napoletano has found his stride....and his band. With an enormous support group of musicians/friends, the band doesn't just play songs but creates atmosphere. As a live act, the band can go from light and airy to gritty and tight, sometimes trading in their sweet polished sound for a more clunky indie-rock vibe which often demonstrates the real strength of their music: concise, well written songs and undeniable musical chemistry.

I'm Peggy Hogan, and I'm a music educator and recording artist. I am a saxophone/piano player based in Leeds in the UK. I have toured extensively throughout the UK and on the continent, performing in a variety of styles. I am also highly proficient in transcribing and have a lot of experience in styles such as pop, jazz, soul, neo-soul and classical. I have arranged for bands and ensembles in most of these styles too, to a professional level. With an eclectic mix of genre, and distinct vocals, my music will take you on a journey of imagination. I grew up in the small town of Smithers, B.C. in a very artistic household: my Mother, a painter, writer, and magazine publisher; my dad, a graphic designer, set designer and guitarist/singer. From an early age, I was exposed to live music, attending concerts and music festivals around northern B.C. I started playing music when I received my first guitar at age 7 and continued throughout elementary and high school where I played tenor saxophone and trumpet in several school bands, and sang in the jazz and choral choirs. My career in music began the year after I graduated high school when I and long time friend, Zak Windle, started writing music together under the name Ranger Smash. We co-produced and released our first 10-track album together in June, 2016. During this time, I was also attending the conservatory acting program at Studio 58 in Vancouver where I honed my crooneresque style, and developed my vocal technique. After graduating, I went on to write, record and self-produce my first solo album under the name Scalawag, released in March, 2019, during my Album release tour. More recently, I released two singles “Touch” in late 2020, getting tagged “The silky smooth articulation…We are in love!” By Tonemill, and garnering a 90% score on Submithub. My subsequent single “You On My Mind,” released in February 2021 to critical acclaim "Scalawag soothes your spirit while filling you with the warm blossoming energy of falling in love" -The Other Side Reviews. My name is John Gray, I'm a professional upright and electric bassist, guitarist, composer and producer. I am a jazz musician by trade, but I have experience working with world class classical, jazz, broadway, rock, pop and singer-songwriter artists. I've been playing flute since 1997. I have several degrees in music performance, and I have recorded on countless projects. I've performed in the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Ottawa and Montreal's Jazz festivals, and the Marciac Jazz festival. I have a lot of experience in knowing in the moment what a song might need, and being able to come up with new ideas that suit the vibe of the song. I came up learning heavy metal and classic rock guitar solos on the flute, and kept working with that and eventually switched to jazz, with a focus in improvisation. I also learned the sax shortly after, and I am able to play tenor, alto, soprano and Baritone, even at the same time!! I've studied with some of the best saxophonists in the world, including David Binney, George Garzone, Donny McCaslin and Dave Liebman. I also play clarinet, keyboards and percussion. I came up in a rich musical background so I am able to perform and interpret in many different styles, from pop to rock, to reggae, to jazz, to hip hop to even techno. I love playing different styles and fusing them together. I'm looking forward to being able to work together and recording on your tracks!!!
