Yo, Our names are Jack and Xavier, and we are Gin & Tonic. The first question we always get asked is: “Who is Gin and who is Tonic?”. The truth is we don’t know. We got the name from a random word generator in year 8 when we were trying to come with a catchy name to use when DJ’ed at our mates house parties. Since then, Gin & Tonic has become a musical venture between 2 best friends that changed our lives in more ways than we thought possible. We have thrived on music and used it to express our emotions, explore creative boundaries and mould our identities into who we are today. Currently we produce and work full time, but we would rather spend most of our time focusing on music. To put it simply, we want to make a career out of producing since it is what we are most passionate about. On a side note, we also want to quit our lame day jobs and stick it to our parents who didn’t let us go to producing school (don’t tell them we said that). Producing music has become much more than just hobby for us and we hope you are able to feel the same way about our music as we do. Our Sound: If anything, we can apply the word “electronic” to describe the music we make. We employ influences from genres spanning from classical to techno and we have a really refined musical taste. Lately we have been exploring a more downtempo sound, combing elements of RnB with deep house. Our latest release: “Like Me” is a bouncey mix of deep house and RnB. It was inspired by many popular Kaytranada hip hop instrumentals and features Anderson .Paak style vocal samples. Past Success: Our first Spotify release “Colder” marked a massive turning point for us when it got featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds playlists. It was also our first international collaboration with Toronto native rapper Acey. I’m a professional singer and songwriter from New York City who’s moved all over the US and Europe, and I’m based in Malaga Spain. I’ve performed, recorded and/or written music with the likes of Ingrid Michaelson, Rachel Platten, Lizzie Grant (Lana Del Rey), The Kin, Gregory Alan Isakov, Lenny Kravitz, Brass Against, Kevin Garrett, and more. My album Other Man was produced by Mike Hedges (U2, The Cure) with help from a team of Grammy winning programmers, mixers, and string arrangers and was released worldwide by Filter Music Group (Milky Chance) in summer 2018. Singles from the album were on radio rotation in Germany, France and Italy, and the official music videos have been viewed nearly 200k time. My vocal performances have also been featured by NYC’s Brass Against and viewed over 1.5 million times. My own compositions focus on vocal flexibility, tone, control, and harmonic support usually on either guitar or piano, and tend to be very soulful. But singing with other groups, I’ve gone from Americana to metal, even singing spot on renditions of Tool with Brass Against. I was classically trained in trumpet by the associate principal player for the Philadelphia Orchestra while I studied music education at Temple University in the early 2000’s. I currently reside in Malaga Spain where I work remotely with producers from NYC and Berlin (where I lived from 2014-2017), and occasional travel Europe to perform live shows either solo or with my band.

Hey! I'm Alexander Almgren a music producer from Yorkshire, England. My credits include 17 albums that have reached the top 20 on the Billboard 200, five of which have reached the top three. I've worked with artists such as Born Cages, Skylar Spence, Bondax, Brand New, Dar Williams, Vanessa Carlton, and Smoke DZA. I worked on Born Cages’ acclaimed track “Don’t Look Back,” for which I received a gold record in 2015. I was trained in jazz and classical music, and went on to study popular music and music technology at the University of Huddersfield. After graduating, I moved to New York City to work with Neil McClellan at The Lodge Music Production House, creating advertising music for products such as Dentyne gum and Hot Wheels toy cars. Not long after, I began working with Gary Philips on production for a major children’s music brand, as well as working with various Razor & Tie Recordings artists. I continue producing children’s pop music to this day, which requires me to identify each component of a successful pop song and recreate it. This process has helped me develop a hyper-awareness of what goes into the production of a hit song. In 2015, I opened Freshly Baked Studios in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, where I produce for a wide variety of artists. My productions allow a song’s strengths to shine through on the track. It’s always about connecting with the feeling of the song -- I see my job as bringing different aspects of the song in and out of focus to lead the listener to the most important moments.

I'm Peggy Hogan, and I'm a music educator and recording artist. As my rap persona, Hua Li, I advocate for representation of Asian American feminisms and cross-cultural solidarity through music, and have had the opportunity to bring this message to a number of significant stages across the world. I'm also the director of POP Symposium at POP Montreal International Music Festival and host of LANDR Audio’s educational video series on the music biz, music theory and history.

I am a saxophone/piano player based in Leeds in the UK. I have toured extensively throughout the UK and on the continent, performing in a variety of styles. I am also highly proficient in transcribing and have a lot of experience in styles such as pop, jazz, soul, neo-soul and classical. I have arranged for bands and ensembles in most of these styles too, to a professional level. I grew up in the small town of Smithers, B.C. in a very artistic household: my Mother, a painter, writer, and magazine publisher; my dad, a graphic designer, set designer and guitarist/singer. From an early age, I was exposed to live music, attending concerts and music festivals around northern B.C. I started playing music when I received my first guitar at age 7 and continued throughout elementary and high school where I played tenor saxophone and trumpet in several school bands, and sang in the jazz and choral choirs. My career in music began the year after I graduated high school when I and long time friend, Zak Windle, started writing music together under the name Ranger Smash. We co-produced and released our first 10-track album together in June, 2016. During this time, I was also attending the conservatory acting program at Studio 58 in Vancouver where I honed my crooneresque style, and developed my vocal technique. After graduating, I went on to write, record and self-produce my first solo album under the name Scalawag, released in March, 2019, during my Album release tour. More recently, I released two singles “Touch” in late 2020, getting tagged “The silky smooth articulation…We are in love!” By Tonemill, and garnering a 90% score on Submithub. My subsequent single “You On My Mind,” released in February 2021 to critical acclaim "Scalawag soothes your spirit while filling you with the warm blossoming energy of falling in love" -The Other Side Reviews. Tom Shemer is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. He splits his time between touring the world as the guitarist of THE DAMN TRUTH and as a producer. I've been playing flute since 1997. I have several degrees in music performance, and I have recorded on countless projects. I've performed in the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Ottawa and Montreal's Jazz festivals, and the Marciac Jazz festival. I have a lot of experience in knowing in the moment what a song might need, and being able to come up with new ideas that suit the vibe of the song. I came up learning heavy metal and classic rock guitar solos on the flute, and kept working with that and eventually switched to jazz, with a focus in improvisation. I also learned the sax shortly after, and I am able to play tenor, alto, soprano and Baritone, even at the same time!! I've studied with some of the best saxophonists in the world, including David Binney, George Garzone, Donny McCaslin and Dave Liebman. I also play clarinet, keyboards and percussion. I came up in a rich musical background so I am able to perform and interpret in many different styles, from pop to rock, to reggae, to jazz, to hip hop to even techno. I love playing different styles and fusing them together. I'm looking forward to being able to work together and recording on your tracks!!!
