I'm a Film & Media Composers agent since 2009. Quality Production that reflects the Golden Era of Hip Hop and R&B! What started as a hobby in 1995 became what is known as Poe Pockets Production in 2000. Patrick Poe aka Poe Pockets an avid fan of 70’s Soul Music and authentic 90’s Hip Hop noticed a change in the Hip Hop culture that was shifting to a more commercial soundscape. The new direction left him missing the head bobbing; neck breaking sound of Hip Hop that he grew to love. He missed music that felt good. Honing his production skills he began to carve out his niche or signature sound. That sound is what he calls “Feel Good Music” and he was determined to see its return. He graduated to the MPC and this is when his creative vibe begun to be received by many local Chicago Underground artists, poets and vocalist. His production credits are with numerous upcoming artist from around the United States. To sum up his style; “Feel Good Music” is the infusion of soulful 70’s music; the golden era of 90’s Hip Hop and with a hint of boom bap drums. Ozkeyz was born in Philadelphia raised in norristown until the age of 10 years old.Then moved back to philly in Germantown/P-town. During this ten yrs he was made to go to church while living in a foster home. During church service he was inspired by the music being played by a 12yr old! From that day on he would go practice to find out that he to had the gift. After leaving John Bar tram High School he landed a job at Guitar Center where he was trained to learn studio gear. He was discovered by a producer from London named Bey'Bey from Independent label/Broken Groove which signed ozkeyz to his first production deal in 2004 with cash bonus and a Honda Accord vehicle! During that time Ozkeyz would work as a in house producer for signed and unsigned artist. During 4yrs of his music career Ozkeyz learned the music business. 2008 after contract duties were fulfilled Ozkeyz realize that independence is the way to go.
