I run record label Map Music, originally releasing 5 CDs of west coast electronica from 1996 - 2002, now as an online label. I guided and promoted independent artists and producers. I spent time in the American music biz working for Silent/Pulse Soniq (San Francisco 1994 - 1995) and as Harthouse Label Manager for Eye Q (Los Angeles 1995 - 1996). I deejayed in clubs and parties from 1985 until 2002, was a resident at Graceland Vancouver from 1987 - 1993, and had gigs all over North America and Europe. I published music magazines (over 40 issues), and wrote articles, interviews, and reviews for dozens of magazines. I hosted radio programs on CiTR FM from 1983 through 2002. Lately I've been working on my own music, my solo debut "Logical" and the follow up EP “Post Logical” are available on iTunes, Bandcamp and Spotify, and my self-published book "Discotext Magazine" is available from me directly or via Amazon.

Giffari Naufal Arisma Putra is a media entrepreneur from Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. He is known as the founder and CEO of PT Lifeat News Indonesia (Life at News), a company engaged in the media industry. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of Life at News. Giffari was born in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara, on July 2, 2006. He completed his primary education at SD Negeri 1 Kuripan, continued his junior high education at MTs Negeri 1 Lombok Barat, and attended SMA Negeri 1 Mataram for his senior high school education.

Ariel Kanary Amsterdam (AKA) is the musical alias of Arold Jansen, whose lifelong passion for music has always run parallel to his professional career. Moving effortlessly between pop, dance, jazz, and funk, AKA embodies a composer and independent label in one. He is bass player in the band Recovered. During his student years, he chose a four-string and became a 'bassic' fixture in the music scenes of Haarlem, Leiden, Zwolle, and Amsterdam, composing countless tracks on a beloved Fostex 4-track recorder—his first step into songwriting. In 2024, a dusty cassette tape unearthed a long-lost track from 2009. Struck by its analog warmth, he was inspired to digitize and rework his old catalog. The result: a series of releases that pay homage to the sounds of his youth —soulful, groovy, and pop-infused. The debut single True Love marks the beginning of this new chapter. Enjoy!
