I have been a professional engineer in the industry since the mid 80s. I not only have an extensive list of RIAA certified gold and platinum credits, but I have also been the engineer for numerous Grammy winning and nominated song and albums. I have real world major label experience in the Reggae, Rock, Gospel, R&B and Hip-Hop Genres, as well as many others.
With credits ranging from Ice Cube, Tupac, Destiny's Child, Korn, Colorado Mass Choir, to EEk a Mouse, Bunny Wailer and Daddy Freddy to mention a few, I'm sure we can bring your vision to fruition.
I have worked in many world class studios. I am available to mix your project, help you produce if needed or even online classes to help you get your system up and running efficiently.
Unlike a lot of other "engineers and producers", I know exactly what the plugins are supposed to sound like. I've used the actual gear I can bring the knowledge and experience only a professional engineer can provide. I did not buy just ProTools and say I am an engineer. I have real world industry knowledge.
Thanks to advances in computer processing and DAWs it has allowed me the ability to now mix from my home studio and still employee the same workflow.
I am also able to "invite" your group to the mix session so you can hear and watch my work flow if you desire thru VST Connect, LANDR Sessions, YouTube or Facebook live streaming sessions. I am basically creating a "virtual couch" to provide an experience as close to going to the studio as possible.
Please feel free to contact me for affordable rates.

I am a producer, songwriter, engineer, arranger and sound designer with going on 20 years professional experience in my field. I'm also an experienced DJ and remixer. I've written in so many genres and fusions of genres I lose track but in essence pop, trap, EDM plus various forms of indietronica are my core competencies.
I love producing and songwriting and I want you to love it, too, without reservation. I mean, I don't want you to hassle with your DAW, struggle to understand mixing concepts like frequency separation or not have instincts to help you quickly and efficiently create impactful arrangements for your songs. I want you to be able to savor sound design, drum programming and sample manipulation, not procrastinate it because of technical hurdles. And I want you to know what plug-ins are best going to help you with your composition and mixing goals *before* you part with your hard earned money and precious time... among other things.
If you are looking for additional production like a bunch of drum stems that are absolute fire in about any genre you can think of or some synths that almost leap out of the speakers at you, I've got you on that. Maybe you want to learn how to flip a sample six ways to Sunday and then some, well, I've got the knowhow. Maybe you need just someone to Melodyne those vox without watery artifacts or wrong notes and you guessed it... plus I'll probably give you some sick harmony ideas or a vocoder part to boot because vocal production is very much another one of my things. Perhaps you are more DIY but you really need a set of ears you can trust and some solid production or mixing notes, well, yeah, I'm that girl. I know what's up.
And maybe, just maybe, you want someone to sit around with you for an hour and listen to a bunch of your favorite music and just free-associate about what's rad about it and talk about this crazy industry we're in and what makes it tick. Well, I'd really love that, too, and even though it's not straight up worky worky like heavy AT, I can almost guarantee you would come out of a discussion like that with an absolute ton of ideas and a spring in your step, primed to create. Because you know and I know that music is a fundamentally good thing and sometimes it's just invigorating to talk with someone who's going to help you peel back the layers of a compelling song and lead you to unexpected insights about it whether it's the production, the engineering, the songwriting, the arrangement, the performance or well... you get the idea.
So, you know, I've got a lot to offer, skills that are both concrete and some that are more philosophical and esoteric. And probably some I'm just not thinking of at the moment. But mostly what I *want* to offer the kind of inspiration that comes from realizing the sandbox you are in is a lot larger than you thought originally. There's just so much out there and that's what keep me going day after day, an unending fascination with our invisible friend, sound.
So, if you made it this far... maybe you want to reach out? I'd love to schedule a meet & greet session to get off on the right foot and come up with you re: what your music and mixing goals are in the near future and how to accomplish them. First sessions are really great for song analysis and arrangement insights so if you have song you are polishing up, I'd love to be a part of that process.
One last thing... I am also trans, queer and non-binary. I simply will not be able to help you if you are: homophobic, transphobic or (of course!) racist. Also, although no matter what your gender I will treat you and your music with kindness, respect, insight and emotional intelligence, I have a great deal of experience working with other queer artists and femmes and am utterly supportive of more diversity and fairness in the music industry.
With all that said, let me help you make you music sound awesome!

Rick Cassman began his musical career in the garage of his parent's house in Ealing aged 12. His first instrument was a tennis racket with nailed on elastic bands as strings. Discovering that one of his friend's dad played the drums, he acquired a snare and a cymbal and began beating out a rhythm. And so 'Rick and The Robots' was formed with three unwilling schoolfriends - playing gigs in the alleyway to their friends. After a brief spell at Ealing School of Art, Rick befriended local college band Gnome Sweet Gnome and got a job as their lighting roadie. A band punch up after a rehearsal for a big gig at Imperial College in London forced their bass player to quit and Rick persuaded the band to let him take over. Dropping out of art college to go on the road and tour Europe, Rick was disappointed when the band split and left him high and dry.
Not to be deterred, Rick continued composing songs and was signed to music publishers Carlin Music in London as a staff writer. During his apprenticeship he composed boxer Henry Cooper's one and only hit record 'Knock Me Down With A Feather' - but please don't tell anyone!! Friends told him to form a band so there would be an outlet for his music and so with guitarist Richard 'Boot' Kingsman the band Straight Eight was put together in 1976. The Who's Pete Townshend heard some demo's and signed the band to his Eel Pie label. Much success and three albums and a tour supporting Queen resulted in Rick's first fully professional stint as musician.
When S8 split in the early '80's Rick built a recording studio with fellow muso Richard Lightman and they ran Triple X Studios for 10 years, producing and engineering albums for bands including Suede and Fields Of The Nephilim. In the early 90's Rick moved his studio to Berwick Street in Soho and managed jingles company Music To Picture with keyboard player Vyv Hope Scott. Over a period of ten years they composed over 1000 production music titles
for film and tv.
Fast forward to the 2000's and the urge to go back on the road and perform live again was too great to resist. With various musical friends Rick began playing with The Deputies band and still performs regularly around SW London.
In 2016 Rick began working with his old friend, music producer and songwriter Mike Paxman (Judie Tzuke, Steve Howe, Status Quo, Asia, Rhino's Revenge) composing and recording songs for his first solo record 'Method and Accident' which is due for worldwide release in 2019.

Coming from a musical family, I found music & the guitar at a very young age. Fascinated by the guitar's ability to forge unique connections, I have pursued sound, the craft of music, adventure, and those rare musical connections for over thirty years.
From childhood through high school I played music with my brothers. We played loud & fast, with angst and creativity!
In college, I studied classical guitar for nearly a decade with the famous Romeros family of Spanish guitarists. During this time I earned Bachelor's & Master's degrees in music.
In 2012 I performed for the Dalai Lama and 13,000 in attendance at San Diego State University's Viejas Arena.
I perform a variety of styles and I have performed at the L.A. Music Awards, the Sundance Film Festival, and at festivals in the US & Europe. In addition to performing, I have composed and recorded music for TV & film and produced award winning tracks.

Hi, I'm Josh and I mix and produce Pop/Indie/Country/Rock genres. A lot of artist's I've worked with have been featured on TV, have millions of streams, and I've even got a RIAA Gold Record under my belt for mixing. More importantly, I'm trying my hardest to help new friends, artists, and producers around the world finish the music they are most excited about and we tend to have a good time doing it.
I've been a touring musician, producer, and mix engineer in some shape or form since I was 15 yrs old. Now, 17 yrs later, I've discovered what I'm best at... and that is helping you, the artist or producer, finish the songs you've spent every ounce of energy on.
Let me be a piece to your puzzle- we will finish something you love!
