Marleen is a poet and lyricist. She graduated from The Songwriting Academy Platinum Mentoring Program in September 2022. She published her book of lyrics and poems "Pin Art Poetry" in 2022. In her writing, Marleen transforms life experiences into inspiring lyrics. In doing so, she takes everyone on a journey of discovery of hope and happiness. In her work she focuses on connection. Many elements in her texts are very recognizable. They are about pain and loss, but also about how to find happiness in yourself and in others. Within her collaborations with musicians, she searches for that unique deep connection that leaves no heart untouched. She prefers to write as personally as possible, tailored to the artist. Marleen is a musical adventurer with an excellent knowledge of music history and contemporary hit songs. She can relate to a variety of genres including gospel, pop, rock, blues, country and Latin and many others. She writes in several languages, including French, English, Dutch and Spanish.
