I'm an audio/visual explorer, working with found footage, geometric shapes and textures to create live and recorded visual art. Musically, I've recorded and performed in a wide variety of styles including gospel, hip-hop, soul, techno, house, afro-beat, avant-garde jazz, ambient, to name a few. As a university trained musician, I studied Jazz Performance at University of Southern California and McGill University. I currently reside in Montreal, and tour internationally with Busty and the Bass. Additionally, I'm the Music Director for Frame Media, Inc., and founder of Florafone Records, where we pride ourselves on artist relations and strategy. My experience lies in both the sonic and visual realm, with a strong passion for creating powerful musical experiences.

Splitting time as co-owner of Freq Shop Recording Studio as well as touring the globe as the drummer of The Damn Truth, my experience and knowledge spans nearly two decades as a professional musician, record producer and mixing engineer. I've made records with The Damn Truth, We Are Monroe, Olivier Couture, Mountain Dust, and Storry. I've also worked alongside Juno-winning producer Jean Massicotte, Grammy-winning mixer Tchad Blake and rock legend David Bottril. As an engineer I approach record making with a focus on musicality, dynamics and feel, and can always be a hard hitting thunderstorm on drums. Betting on character and individuality, I always try to respect and maximize the distinct nature of the artists I work with. www.thefreqshop.com www.thedamntruth.com

I am passionate about making music and helping others do the same. Montreal born and based, I've been lucky enough to visit 58 countries and live in a handful of them. I've had the pleasure of making music for and with many talented people and this is only the beginning... I've made music for video games, commercials, film scores, but mostly (and my specialty) is to make electronic music using sounds I create from scratch - no loops and to ensure that everyone is dancing! As a performer, I was able to play live to crowds of over 50 000 spectators and I was always pegged as the "tech" guy. I can perform on keys, drums, flutes & machines. Feeling right at home with complex audio routing or "impossible" sound design challenges, I can bring your ideas into reality. Please contact me so we can get to work!

Hello! My name is Tricia, and I'm a multidisciplinary artist presently living in Montreal. My work centres around public performance, illustration and play. I love to learn and teach, and employ humour, storytelling, art, and multimedia to bring people together. Focusing more on the side of dance and how music joins us, it is only recently I have begun to explore the creation of audio work. I consider myself a collaborator, with other artists, the community, and the environment.

I'm an engineer, drummer and percussionist who's worked with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and The National Art Center Orchestra, Capital Brass Works, along with many other bands and ensembles. I made the move to Montreal as a drummer and audio engineer in 2011 and became a full-time freelancer. I've toured extensively throughout 2013, and since returning to Montreal I've been working mainly as a recording and mixing engineer. I had a chance to work on 2 Felix winning albums, with Alex Desilets, Windigo and Laurence Jalbert, Ma Route, and was recently recording engineer for the Juno and Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated album Hapax, by the band Oktopus (who I now play drums with). As for the genre of music that I work on, I don't necessarily decide that for myself, but it gets determined by the projects I get hired to work on. I like music that's been well-honed, and the importance of the genre for me is secondary to that. I find the music itself tells me where to take the sound, and by having good communication with the artist/s we can make sure we're thinking along the same lines, plus I get to learn what the artist hears/has in mind. When I do work on a new genre, I like to find new tricks that associate with that genre, but I also have a bag of my own tricks that I can bring to the table, which helps me bring a different light to a common sound.

I have been involved in the music industry for 12 years, starting as a session musician for large festival and studio productions, then later holding various roles in business and management. I've held positions in artist management, music journalism/TV production, teaching, and multimedia product management for international brands. I have also sat as a board member for a non-profit, as well as an artist collective, and incorporated a performance group in 2011 that I helped run for 3 years. I've placed music on radio and in Hollywood movie trailers, worked with Juno award winning artist "Pomo", recorded and produced in Bryan Adams' studio "The Warehouse", and have organically grown streaming accounts beyond 1 million plays per year. My coaching and artist development has led to record label deals, synchronization opportunities, and collaborations with major artists and producers. I've received the VCC Music Entrance Award, VCC Music Jury Award, Warwick Business School Scholarships, and sponsored attendance to the McGill Executive Institute in Effective Leadership. Notable performances: - Montreal International Jazz Festival - Ottawa Bluesfest - Vancouver Folk Music Festival - Shambhala Music Festival - North by Northeast (NXNE) - Pop Montreal Notable organizations I've worked with: - The Feldman Agency - RipTide Music Group - Nimbus Recording School - The Warehouse Studio - Mike Moloney Entertainment - Bell Fibe TV (TV1) - FACTOR - The Vocalist Magazine Featured in/at: - The Georgia Straight - BeatRoute Magazine - LaSalle College, Panel Judge and Guest Speaker - HipHop Vancouver I offer a variety of writing, marketing, and coaching services to help refine your image, sound, and artistic vision. My work is catered to your unique goals (which we establish and clarify together), with the ultimate goal of strategically positioning your artistry in the market for a sustainable career. I've been both an artist myself, music industry professional, and corporate manager, and so my services blend these experiences to provide my clients with a well-rounded and holistic approach. Nothing brings me greater joy than facilitating the self-discovery process within an artist, unblocking them creatively, and selling their unique brand offering to the world. I firmly believe that artists deserve to be supported in order to launch and sustain a career. Artists should not be expected to be business professionals, and should not feel like they are alone on that front. In addition, I am sensitive to the financial limitations of various artists, and so I strive to give my best work for a discounted price here on the LANDR Network platform. Successful artists who I have known and worked with throughout the years invested in their own self-discovery, and built structure around that authenticity in order to stay consistent in the pursuit of their goals. We can work on all of that together: - Writing services strengthen and articulate your unique mission and purpose, communicating your "best self" to fans and industry professionals. - Marketing services get your music heard and your brand recognized, and may include the assembly of a team to maximize results. - Feedback and consulting services give you straight, honest, and constructive feedback so that you can take ACTION on the information provided to you. - Coaching services ensure you are focusing your efforts in the right places and that you retain the mental fortitude to fulfill your dreams. My framework is designed to focus on your unique journey, and to bring out hidden talents that develop you further as an artist.
