As a guitarist and bassist, I have had the privilege of touring with many bands and artists including Norah Jones, Daniel Johnston, Bedouine, Ben Kweller, Jonathan Wilson, The Redwalls and Alberta Cross as well as playing with members of The Grateful Dead and Phish. I've been playing music since I was four and there is nothing that I love more. Making music with people who are creative and strive to push themselves is something I will always crave. My favorite kind of music is made when talented musicians are using their intuition. This tends to happen in the first handful of takes. I like the spontaneity and the commitment to that moment. It's why I love working with tape (obviously this can happen in the digital world as well). In saying that, I'm always up for spending as much time necessary to get the right take. I am very experienced in digital comping and splicing tape. I've had the honor of working with a lot of different artists and am well-versed in many genres. I like learning new things and am always open to surprises that happen during recording. I enjoy helping artists with songwriting. If you're stuck on something, I'd love to add a fresh perspective for the song to take an interesting turn. I pride myself on bringing a friendly, open-minded and organized approach to my work. My main goal is to make it fun and to have the artist be psyched about their recording! Hi! I'm a touring/studio drummer based in Paris France. For the last 7 years I've been playing with several international artists like Zaho (RNB) Mika (Pop) Melissa Laveaux (World Pop) Kimberose (Soul Pop) and Holy Two (electro pop). Kaleb Hikele is a prolific Canadian indie recording artist. His work as The Sun Harmonic has been featured in rotation on SiriusXM, CBC Radio, Stingray and college radio stations across the country. His songs have been recognized by Canada's Walk of Fame, Record Store Day, Canadian Musician Magazine among other news and media outlets across North America. Kaleb has toured the country and received grants to record his music from coast to coast.
