I'm a full-time musician working on all different types of music at almost every stage. From developing artists and their ideas to recording almost every type of instrument and mixing them to full-fledged songs. My main instrument is the piano and all other keyboards and synths. Born in the city of Baltimore, I'm King Harlem- a talented hip hop/rap music artist with unique vocals and lyrics that keep the audience entertained. My passion for music started at the age of 12 years old as i always like rapping and freestyling. Ever since i decided to explore my unique rapping talent providing a different type of modern sound to my clients with lots of energy. My love for rapping was instilled in me after i got shot 9 times and the Police told My mother that i was dead of which I wasn't i woke up on the 5th of June 2007 after i was shot 23rd of May, 2007. My brother happen to be shot dead before then and all that together played in my head, taking my passion for rapping to the next level. I grew up on the eastside of Baltimore where hip-hop culture is heavily influenced; rapping came naturally for me. Seven years down the line i was able to overcome a series of surgeries to get back on my feet. I was signed to an independent label but they gave up on me after seeing me in the hospital. My talent means a lot to me because of my ability to change the “game” as i want to showcase my talent. I believe i have a lot in my head and want to share it with the world. Through rap, i hope to inspire my audience so they know where I'm coming from. Today, im an upcoming rap artist in the music industry with aspirations to reach mainstream hip-hop platforms. I play the Golden Throat Talkbox, using a Yamaha DX-100 a la Roger. I have since 1995 when I befriended Roger Troutman on a tour through California. Roger gave me the secrets to his sound and his production techniques, guitar riffs, gear and how he plays the Talkbox. You need some Talkbox work a la Roger, or some funk guitar a la, Roger, then get with the best. R.I.P. Roger Bray Gurnari, is credited on 6 tracks of the debut “Revolution’ LP with the Punk Funk Mob. Recently in 2020, Johnie had recording credits with, Too Short, Baby Bash, and The Punk Funk Mob’s respective singles to be released in 2021.

I was also featured in a music video with Boyz II Men considered the worlds most successful boy band worldwide, in a world premiere video entitled 1-4-all-4-1. Through my contribution to the album it peaked at number 54 on the billboard charts and registered Gold with the RIAA . I am currently still writing, producing, and doing everything independently.
