I have been a professional engineer in the industry since the mid 80s. I not only have an extensive list of RIAA certified gold and platinum credits, but I have also been the engineer for numerous Grammy winning and nominated song and albums. I have real world major label experience in the Reggae, Rock, Gospel, R&B and Hip-Hop Genres, as well as many others. With credits ranging from Ice Cube, Tupac, Destiny's Child, Korn, Colorado Mass Choir, to EEk a Mouse, Bunny Wailer and Daddy Freddy to mention a few, I'm sure we can bring your vision to fruition. I have worked in many world class studios. I am available to mix your project, help you produce if needed or even online classes to help you get your system up and running efficiently. Unlike a lot of other "engineers and producers", I know exactly what the plugins are supposed to sound like. I've used the actual gear I can bring the knowledge and experience only a professional engineer can provide. I did not buy just ProTools and say I am an engineer. I have real world industry knowledge. Thanks to advances in computer processing and DAWs it has allowed me the ability to now mix from my home studio and still employee the same workflow. I am also able to "invite" your group to the mix session so you can hear and watch my work flow if you desire thru VST Connect, LANDR Sessions, YouTube or Facebook live streaming sessions. Coming from a musical family, I found music & the guitar at a very young age. Fascinated by the guitar's ability to forge unique connections, I have pursued sound, the craft of music, adventure, and those rare musical connections for over thirty years. From childhood through high school I played music with my brothers. We played loud & fast, with angst and creativity! In college, I studied classical guitar for nearly a decade with the famous Romeros family of Spanish guitarists. During this time I earned Bachelor's & Master's degrees in music. In 2012 I performed for the Dalai Lama and 13,000 in attendance at San Diego State University's Viejas Arena. I perform a variety of styles and I have performed at the L.A. Music Awards, the Sundance Film Festival, and at festivals in the US & Europe. In addition to performing, I have composed and recorded music for TV & film and produced award winning tracks.

Lu Diaz is a Miami / Atlanta based Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award winning Mix Engineer, Music Producer & Executive Producer. He is a big part of Miami's music landscape. Lu and his brother Hugo Diaz better known as "The Diaz Brothers" are best known for their signing and career launch of the artist Pitbull, they are considered architects of the modern day Miami music movement.
