My name is DC Medina from Hartford, Connecticut. I was born in the Bronx in the early 90s and once called the paradise of Puerto Rico home. I have been writing professionally for over ten years. In college, I minored in creative writing and showcased my prowess by working for the school's paper and the literary magazine as a section and genre editor respectively. I have freelanced as a news reporter, and wrote for EDMTunes.com between 2012 and 2013, covering events and reviewing music. My musical journey began in 2002 with a jestful death metal band I started with my best friend called "Chaos Informed." I learned the trumpet, timbales, drums, and a bit of the piano between 2002-2008. But in 2009, FL Studio turned my world around, sparking my music production career. Dutch house remixes in 2010 of classic Deadmau5 and Skrillex songs garnered me some attention and led me to my first full album, "The Russian Lady Diaries," in 2012. However, never feeling fully embedded in the Jazz world, I quickly went onto the session musician circuit, playing for high profile artists such as Stormzy and Jordan Rakei. Fast forward to 2019, where I was asked to be a featured artist on 'Make you Feel' by South London Duo Fika, laying my vibrant trumpet sound on the alt-soul hit. Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist, producer, and beatmaker. My influences and styles are vast, ranging from jazz, hip-hop, blues, folk, rock, funk, soul and electronic music. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from McGill University. I’ve worked, toured, performed, written and recorded with numerous artists such as Lauryn Hill, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jon Batiste, The Weeknd, NAS, Billy Porter, Quiñ, The Roots, Andra Day, Antonio Sanchez, Tony Allen, Femi Kuti, and Bokanté. In 2015, I collaborated with Brooklyn native singer/flutist Melanie Charles on a project called “Rat Habitat”; a mix of electro/soul/indie rock. Our co-produced EP "Guns That Shoot Bubbles" was released in May of 2015, and has gotten many powerful reviews on internationally recognized online blogs such as Okayplayer, AfroPunk, Soulbounce and Ebony. Past production releases include Canadian songstress Sarah MK’s album “Worth It” which received the “Editors Pick” at the 2011 world renown “Montreal International Jazz Festival” My debut release as a leader, entitled “Dreams”, is a tapestry of colors and moods; a blend of electronic/indie/beat/jazz influences. The album showcases my skills as a producer and beatmaker, and while not a guitar heavy featured project, manages to fuse many of my musical influences into one cohesive sonic vision. The album features several New York City musicians, notably veteran drummer Obed Calvaire, vocalist Mike “Maz” Maher, woodwind genius Sly5Ave, violinist Lisanne Tremblay, drummer David Frasier and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Fischer.

I'm a London-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer and improviser. Classically trained violinist and pianist who writes music for a range of media, including games and films, and has collaborated as a session musician with bands like Super Furry Animals. My solo work juxtaposes a variety of genres, regularly blending ambient/electronic textures with the subtleties of minimalism, jazz, experimental, folk and more. My upcoming composition projects are a new (narrative) feature film and a game. As a musician, I will be performing in August at Cafe Oto as part of the 'Unpredictable' series.

My name is John Gray, I'm a professional upright and electric bassist, guitarist, composer and producer. I am a jazz musician by trade, but I have experience working with world class classical, jazz, broadway, rock, pop and singer-songwriter artists. I'm available for remote recording on bass; I am a very versatile musician who can play just about any style on the upright bass (bowed or pitz) or electric bass (4 string, 5 string or fretless). His songs have been recognized by Canada's Walk of Fame, Record Store Day, Canadian Musician Magazine among other news and media outlets across North America. Kaleb has toured the country and received grants to record his music from coast to coast. He has released six studio albums as The Sun Harmonic and over a dozen records spanning six band names and diverse genres. The Sun Harmonic became the first artist to win Record Store Day's Unsigned vinyl pressing competition in 2019.
