If you name your production's need, my specialty is providing the solution. I've got a great ear and attitude, and offer some of the best value and camaraderie in town. Getting the sound you are looking for is important to me. I've participated in a huge variety of live shows, and also play guitar rocking out in bands (of course).

I'm a session/touring acoustic and electric bass player based in Warsaw Poland. I specialise in acoustic genres in the broadest sense (actually any that require live instruments). Hey there, my name is David, but I go by D4. I'm a music project manager, freelance music marketer, artist assistant, blogger and content creator. I'm a swiss army knife when it comes to helping artists. I’ve had a hand in almost every aspect of a music career, except the making of music itself. This includes booking, performance contracts, planning & executing music releases, web design, membership sites (Patreon), e-commerce (Squarespace), producing social media content, tour management and online marketing. My newest role/position is project manager for Mobile Home Recordings. I also write for D4 Music Marketing, which is an online blog I created to educate new and emerging independent artists about marketing and the music business. I am a hard working and reliable musician very passionate about my craft. I am still excited about music and working with new musicians. I have been working as a touring and recording professional based out of LA for the past 15 years. I am easy going and always up for new Ideas and suggestions for new and different approaches to making grooves. I have a masters degree is Jazz studies but also grew up playing in church, and with school choirs as a youngster. I read, program, and also also play by ear. My touring credits over the last 15 years range from Engelbert Humperdink to Raphael Saadiq and many things in between. Rock, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Reggae, Electronic music.

I've been studying electric bass and trumpet from a young age. I graduated from conservatory in trumpet and jazz music and have since been dedicated myself to making musical arrangements. While concluding my studies, I started my professional career with various groups. I participated in courses at Umbria Jazz, Siena Jazz, Vienna, New York, etc. . In the 80's I made recordings of pop music for Pierangelo Bertoli, Loredana Berte, Aida Cooper, Fred Bongusto, Rocky Roberts, Umberto Bindi, Vladi Tosetto, Manuela Villa, Raoul Casadei, Tanita Tikaram, and others. In 1990 I moved to the United States for studies and professional experience. Since 1992, I've owned and operated a professional recording studio in Italy, working with various editors, such as Ariston, Fabbri, Universal, Hobby & Work, Caligula, RCA, CGD, and RTI Mediaset. Composer of over 100 songs for television themes, documentaries, circus & show music, films, and background music for advertising (RTI Mediaset and RAI trade) up until 2014. In 2002 and 2003 I conducted the festival "Mara & Meo" in Switzerland for the national network IST. In 2007 I produced a group "Khorakhanè" with whom I also directed in the 57th Annual Sanremo Festival of Song. Since 2016, I've played as the leader in my live quartet as a trumpeter, for which I arranged covers and my own tracks. From 2015 to 2018 I've toured as the bass player and arranger for the Casadei Orchestra. Since 2018 I've been focussing on freelance as a music producer and recently started expanding my brand reach via Spotify, Fiver and other platforms.

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance and have been working professionally since 2004. I am proficient in classical, jazz, improvisation, country, traditional fiddle, celtic, rock, metal, hip hop, pop and electronic music. I have work as a freelance player and session musician and have toured with bands and artists internationally. I have also worked as a theatre performer, actor and singers as well as musical director and arranger since 2011.
