I’m a freelance musician, composer, producer and arts manager based in Montreal and Ottawa, Canada. My main craft is performing and recording guitar. I also have experience in music production (live and studio), songwriting, bass playing, arranging, tour managing, grant writing, promotion, editing, mixing, and composing for film, podcast, theatre productions and video games. Former media relations director for the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, Ottawa Fringe Festival, Music Yukon, subDevision, Undercurrents Festival, and Off-Jazz Ottawa.

Originally from Los Angeles, I have now been living in NYC for a decade. As a session musician, I have worked with John Legend, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Bono, and Natasha Bedingfield, amongst others. As a Broadway musician, I am the original drummer for Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Amelie, and most recently, Mean Girls. As a touring musician, I have toured with Carney, Klangkarussell, Cristian Castro, and others. My tv credits include guest drummer with The 8G band for Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, GMA, Good Morning America, and others. I also have released a solo record, entitled Morning Drone.

I am a producer, mixer, and songwriter who has been working professionally in the music industry for over ten years. I've worked with many artists (including writing, producing, and mixing Donna Missal's viral hit "Keep Lying"), scored countless TV commercials, and have had music sync'd on numerous ads, TV shows, and trailers.

Hey! I'm Alexander Almgren a music producer from Yorkshire, England. My credits include 17 albums that have reached the top 20 on the Billboard 200, five of which have reached the top three. I've worked with artists such as Born Cages, Skylar Spence, Bondax, Brand New, Dar Williams, Vanessa Carlton, and Smoke DZA. I worked on Born Cages’ acclaimed track “Don’t Look Back,” for which I received a gold record in 2015. I was trained in jazz and classical music, and went on to study popular music and music technology at the University of Huddersfield. After graduating, I moved to New York City to work with Neil McClellan at The Lodge Music Production House, creating advertising music for products such as Dentyne gum and Hot Wheels toy cars. Not long after, I began working with Gary Philips on production for a major children’s music brand, as well as working with various Razor & Tie Recordings artists. I continue producing children’s pop music to this day, which requires me to identify each component of a successful pop song and recreate it. This process has helped me develop a hyper-awareness of what goes into the production of a hit song. In 2015, I opened Freshly Baked Studios in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, where I produce for a wide variety of artists. My productions allow a song’s strengths to shine through on the track. It’s always about connecting with the feeling of the song -- I see my job as bringing different aspects of the song in and out of focus to lead the listener to the most important moments.

I'm an Emmy Award winning Songwriter and ACM Song Of The Year Nominee. I've won 15 ASCAP Awards and written with some of the biggest artists in the world, in Country, Pop & Rock. My songs have been at the top of Billboard's #1 singles chart as a Songwriter and as Producer and they've appeared in TV series' more than 300 times. Hey guys, So my name is Kris Kabrera, I’m a 24 year old multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles. Ever since I was a young boy and picked up my first CD player, I dreamed of being an artist. There’s something about good music that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. The emotion, the passion and lyricism all coming together, it’s just so beautiful. I’ve been playing guitar/bass for 11 years, my style is a mix of 90s/2000s rock, indie rock, adult-contemporary and definitely some hip-hop influenced riffs. I’ve also been songwriting for about 10 years, so I’m very familiar with the process and what it takes to complete a good song. I’ve had a lot of success on the streaming platform known as Bandlab with one of my songs soaring to more than 20k streams. There’s nothing more in this world that I love more than music, besides family of course........and my girlfriend haha, but it’s music and the process of making/collaborating, it’s all I want to do. I'm an engineer, drummer and percussionist who's worked with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and The National Art Center Orchestra, Capital Brass Works, along with many other bands and ensembles. I made the move to Montreal as a drummer and audio engineer in 2011 and became a full-time freelancer. I've toured extensively throughout 2013, and since returning to Montreal I've been working mainly as a recording and mixing engineer. I had a chance to work on 2 Felix winning albums, with Alex Desilets, Windigo and Laurence Jalbert, Ma Route, and was recently recording engineer for the Juno and Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated album Hapax, by the band Oktopus (who I now play drums with). As for the genre of music that I work on, I don't necessarily decide that for myself, but it gets determined by the projects I get hired to work on. I like music that's been well-honed, and the importance of the genre for me is secondary to that. I find the music itself tells me where to take the sound, and by having good communication with the artist/s we can make sure we're thinking along the same lines, plus I get to learn what the artist hears/has in mind. When I do work on a new genre, I like to find new tricks that associate with that genre, but I also have a bag of my own tricks that I can bring to the table, which helps me bring a different light to a common sound.
