I've played on over 1200 recordings for a wide variety of artists, including Lyle Lovett, Bruce Springsteen, Alison Krauss, Johnny Cash, Christina Aguilera, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Willie Nelson, Luis Fonsi, Ricardo Arjona, and many more. I've produced records for Willie Nelson (2x Grammy winning), Keith Urban (Platinum), Blues Traveler (Grammy Nominated) Mary Chapin Carpenter (Grammy Nominated), Rita Wilson, and more. I am also a Grammy nominated arranger.

Nashville, United States
Hi! I'm a Nashville based producer, mixer, vocalist, and writer signed to BMG and Centricity Music. My songs have been placed on Netflix, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Fox News, MTV and have also been synced in TV/radio commercials and movies. Let's bring your song to life!
Producer, Guitarist, Beatmaker
-
Brooklyn, United States
Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based guitarist, producer, and beatmaker. My influences and styles are vast, ranging from jazz, hip-hop, blues, folk, rock, funk, soul and electronic music.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from McGill University. I’ve worked, toured, performed, written and recorded with numerous artists such as Lauryn Hill, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jon Batiste, The Weeknd, NAS, Billy Porter, Quiñ, The Roots, Andra Day, Antonio Sanchez, Tony Allen, Femi Kuti, and Bokanté.
In 2015, I collaborated with Brooklyn native singer/flutist Melanie Charles on a project called “Rat Habitat”; a mix of electro/soul/indie rock. Our co-produced EP "Guns That Shoot Bubbles" was released in May of 2015, and has gotten many powerful reviews on internationally recognized online blogs such as Okayplayer, AfroPunk, Soulbounce and Ebony. Past production releases include Canadian songstress Sarah MK’s album “Worth It” which received the “Editors Pick” at the 2011 world renown “Montreal International Jazz Festival”
My debut release as a leader, entitled “Dreams”, is a tapestry of colors and moods; a blend of electronic/indie/beat/jazz influences. The album showcases my skills as a producer and beatmaker, and while not a guitar heavy featured project, manages to fuse many of my musical influences into one cohesive sonic vision. The album features several New York City musicians, notably veteran drummer Obed Calvaire, vocalist Mike “Maz” Maher, woodwind genius Sly5Ave, violinist Lisanne Tremblay, drummer David Frasier and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Fischer.

Q&A
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Most mixing projects lately are a combo of the two. I mix in the box and print outboard gear and effects. Then the mix is printed through my API 8200 summing mixer. I would love to do more all analog tape sessions, because it's a fun and different workflow but realistically the budgets and time constraints are limited.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Getting to work with all kinds of people and personalities in many different styles of music. I think that really keeps me fresh.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing and mastering is magic and everything can be fixed. Don't get me wrong a lot can be fixed, but there is no substitute for great source material. The job of mixing and mastering is to enhance the song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What direction do you want the mix to go? On a 1-10 scale, 1 being pretty close to the rough mix but a little more polished/hi-fi or 10 pretty unrecognizable from the rough mix?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen! Be fearless and experiment. Turn that delay all the way up maybe it'll work, maybe it won't? You don't know unless you try. Also don't be afraid to kill your darlings.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All kinds, thats my favorite part of the job
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Fresh ears and a new perspective
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For mixing, I try to learn as much about the song as I can. I have a detailed conversation with the artist and try and get an idea of the vision for the song before I start. A rough mix is always helpful I listen to that a couple of times and right down my ideas and notes. Once I feel like I'm at a got place with the mix I'll send it to the artist for notes and then revise based on any notes they have until they're happy with the mix.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Oh boy, lots of people. I really love people like Tchad Blake and Dave Fridmann who are making wild sounds you've never heard before. As well as folks who came up more in the "documentarian" engineering world. People like Sam Phillips, Tom Dowd, Steve Albini who are trying to capture the performance in the room.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing, Mastering, Editing.

Engineer, Mastering Engineer

I’m an award winning engineer specialise in mastering. I have 10+ years of experience in the music industry. My clients include Warner Music & Netflix. I’ve worked with music producers such as Mark Dodson (Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne), Chuks Chiejine (BROCKHAMPTON) and Deni Lew (PJ & Duncan) as well as artists like Bree Runway (EMI), Daria, Seycara, PW Music and Viktoria Modesta.
I love passionate musicians and helping them finalize their sound. Writing a song is the first step, making the production is the second and finishing it with an excellent mix and master is also crucial; without a decent sound nobody is going to listen to your music. As a professionally trained musician, I can connect with any kind of genre. I’m always looking for new opportunities to work with great musicians and take their sound to the next level.
As a graduated film music composer I'm also writing music for some of the biggest trailer music labels in LA, such as Really Slow Motion, Glory Oath + Blood and JDM Music. Most of my music has been published by Warner Chappell and used in Netflix campaigns. I usually work on these tracks as a composer, producer and mixing engineer.
Please listen to my audio samples, check out my services and let me know if you have any further questions. I hope we are going to work on one of your upcoming projects very soon.

As a guitarist and bassist, I have had the privilege of touring with many bands and artists including Norah Jones, Daniel Johnston, Bedouine, Ben Kweller, Jonathan Wilson, The Redwalls and Alberta Cross as well as playing with members of The Grateful Dead and Phish.
I've been playing music since I was four and there is nothing that I love more. Making music with people who are creative and strive to push themselves is something I will always crave. My favorite kind of music is made when talented musicians are using their intuition. This tends to happen in the first handful of takes. I like the spontaneity and the commitment to that moment. It's why I love working with tape (obviously this can happen in the digital world as well). In saying that, I'm always up for spending as much time necessary to get the right take. I am very experienced in digital comping and splicing tape.
I've had the honor of working with a lot of different artists and am well-versed in many genres. I like learning new things and am always open to surprises that happen during recording. I enjoy helping artists with songwriting. If you're stuck on something, I'd love to add a fresh perspective for the song to take an interesting turn.
I pride myself on bringing a friendly, open-minded and organized approach to my work. My main goal is to make it fun and to have the artist be psyched about their recording!

Coming from a musical family, I found music & the guitar at a very young age. Fascinated by the guitar's ability to forge unique connections, I have pursued sound, the craft of music, adventure, and those rare musical connections for over thirty years.
From childhood through high school I played music with my brothers. We played loud & fast, with angst and creativity!
In college, I studied classical guitar for nearly a decade with the famous Romeros family of Spanish guitarists. During this time I earned Bachelor's & Master's degrees in music.
In 2012 I performed for the Dalai Lama and 13,000 in attendance at San Diego State University's Viejas Arena.
I perform a variety of styles and I have performed at the L.A. Music Awards, the Sundance Film Festival, and at festivals in the US & Europe. In addition to performing, I have composed and recorded music for TV & film and produced award winning tracks.
