Mike Casey is an internationally recognized saxophone-based artist, producer, and composer in Los Angeles. Balancing an avant-garde spirit with relatable, poetic melodic sensibilities and a focus on cinematic ideation, Mike’s jazz-based—but often adventurous—genre-bending work has reached millions. Casey was chosen for the GRAMMYs' "NEXT" Class of 2023, Spotify's "Best Jazz of 2020-2022", heard on BBC, NPR, Triple J airwaves and has brought his distinct melodies to notable stages such as the Kennedy Center, BRIC, Catalina's, and World Cafe Live.

TPV Records is an independent UK-based radio station broadcasting new and underground music from around the world. We work across all genres — ambient, hip hop, jazz, dub, folk, experimental electronics, soul, spoken word, leftfield pop and everything in between — with a focus on sound that sits outside the commercial mainstream. Some artists are unsigned. Others release through respected underground imprints like Warp, Ghost Box or Erased Tapes. What matters is the spirit, not the scale. Founded on the principle of creative freedom, TPV is a space for DJs, producers, poets, storytellers and collectors to share what moves them — without algorithm pressure, commercial targets or gatekeeping. We host scheduled shows from artists around the world, with a platform designed to spotlight both seasoned selectors and emerging voices. No big money. No fake hype. Just sound.

I am a Los Angeles based touring and recording session drummer and percussionist. My credits include Lana Del Rey, Brandi Carlile, Alessia Cara, Pink Sweat$, Patti Smith, The Lone Bellow, David Gray, Iggy Pop and others.

Since 2014, I have been an advocate for more transparency in the music industry. As young professionals develop core skills thanks to evolving technology it is equally important that A&R, Managers and Promoters keep up with the trends. The digital landscape is deciding this years winners or losers and due to a lack of transparency from the world's top labels, many independent recording artists, producers, engineers and more (ready for hire) are left in the dark as to what they should be doing to reach a goal that they are told is simply a fairytale. I am here to assure you that your goal is no fairytale. The music industry is a vast place with many economic opportunities for those who wish to partake in it. With more transparency there will be more inclusion and with more inclusion the music industry will continue to win by connecting the hardest working professionals to economic stability. People choose me as a resource or utilize my services because I do not treat their goals as a fairy tale. I pour through pages of data, analytics and results so that when I partner with you -- we don't get it wrong. As an entertainer looking to join in the lucrative gains of the music industry it is important to have access to a professional who puts results before gains. A professional you can trust that will recommend what you need, even if I don't offer it personally. In 2010 Drake made a video about the importance of digital marketing and its role on the music industry. He talked about artists not having websites and not thinking critically about their digital approach. Fast forward to today and Drake is one of the biggest brands on the face of the earth who still maintains a digital first approach. Meanwhile managers and their counterparts find it difficult to pitch websites and digital marketing to aspiring talent. No we all may not have a mind like Drake, but its 2020 and one thing we can agree on is that marketing and strategy is the missing component for a great idea, product, service or talent. Real growth is acquired through consistency over time. My strategies and the services I offer are specifically designed to help an artist build a brand and expose their products.
